It’s very rare for us to leave a project midway, as we do our absolute best to finish each project from start to finish. IF it occurs, we tell the homeowner in advance and let them know that we will be gone for a day to wrap up an existing project.
For instance, if our electrician finishes running electrical on a roof on a Wednesday, we may go on Thursday to install trim for one day to keep that project moving and on schedule.
Regardless, we will keep you updated on your timeline and communicate with you throughout the whole process!

Unlike other custom deck and pergola companies with a dozen workers, I build each deck, pergola, or roof myself!
I take great pride in my craftsmanship and like to ensure that every project is completed on time and on budget, and meets your backyard needs.

The longevity of your deck is dependent on a few factors, including the following “upgrades” which are standard and at no extra charge. They are not required by code, but are best practice and will significantly extend the life of the structure!
We use pressure treated lumber (There are 5 classes of pressure treated lumber. Each class is determined by the pressure treating process each board goes through to ensure it is used for the correct application.)
All of our lumber is rated to be in direct contact with the ground. 99% of our decks are not built in direct contact with the ground but we use this lumber anyway because it is more resistant to rot and decay. Lumber from big box stores is not rated for ground contact and is an inferior product.
We tape the top of all of our structural framing members (joists and beams). This ensures that water that drains between the deck boards shed off of the side of the tape, ensuring the framing doesn’t get wet and stay wet. The tap is thick and sticky, so screws passing through the tape are self sealed, ensuring that water doesn’t travel down the screw and rot the framing from the inside out.

The industry standard reflects a 1 year warranty, therefore Premium Decks and Pergolas offer a 1 year warranty.
However, I have responded to clients and performed warranty work outside of the 1 year window but this is on a case by case basis.
